Online Workshops

As of Fall 2009 I am currently teaching the following workshops! Click the banners for more info and registration information!

Color Exploration Workshop

This Exploration Workshop (2 modules) is all about color! No matter what media you choose to create with (fabric, fibers, paper, paint, metals or clay) the information featured will help you learn to successfully use color to create dynamic works of art.

At the end of the workshop, you will have learned about color theory, the interaction of colors, how to get the most from your art supplies though organization and have completed three step-by-step art projects covering various media techniques and color composition.

Program Level: Beginner and intermediate artists welcome!

What's included: ArtTrader online workshops include access to our streaming videos and PDF workbooks. We have a forum and user galleries for all participants to interact with each other and the program instructors. Work at your own pace! Instructors are always available for one-on-one help and critique.

New cards!

I made some more cards (though if you're at ATCards.com they aren't new to you ;) )lately as well as hand bound some books..I'll scan the books sone but here are the cards:

This is one I made for Athame_Art over at ATCards.com she asked for a retro goddess, whoch was easy for me, I like the goddess theme, and my mom had just bought a lava lamp! Kinda cliche probably, but nothing says retro like a bad lava lamp...

This is actually after a print by ... an artist who escapes me but it is of kabuki actor Matsumoto Koshiro, who lived at the trun of the 18th/19th century. I painted it with ink, watercolor and gouache.

These little fellows were FUN to paint :D I need to do more frogs and toad and reptile is general, they are so colorful. These were made again, with ink, watercolor and guache...maybe someday I'll try acrylics ;)
